Summary
The Foundation Miniscalchi-Erizzo, which opened in the 50’s of the last century thanks to the last descendent of the lineage, is located in the heart of Verona in the aristocratic house of the family. The museum is made up of different rooms distributed over two floors containing items collected over more than three centuries by the different members of the family. Collection history
The eclectic collections contained inside the palace are the result of a long collection work and are not specifically related to the personality of a single collector. It is important, however, to highlight that the most important and ancient core is the domestic museum of Ludovico Moscardo (Verona 1611-1681) whose objects passed on to the Miniscalchi family as a consequence of the marriage of the count Marcantonio (1785) to Teresa Moscardo.
